What to expect when you buy a puppy

• When you buy a puppy from us your puppy will have had her/his dew claws removed and tail docked, age appropriate vaccinations & wormings and your puppy will have a visit with my vet along with a written health certificate from my vet regardless if it is shipped or picked up.
  
• Your puppy will come pre-spoiled! Yes that is right he or she will already be used being loved, cuddled, and belly rubs. Your puppy is played with daily with myself and my kids. My puppies are very trusting of us and it shows when you can turn him/her over on their back and stay there..of coarse they know they will be getting that little belly rubbed :-) Because of all the love they receive they love us back and boy do they show it with those hard to beat puppy kisses!
  
• Your puppy will be started on crate training and paper- piddle/pad training. Now this is only a start so please do not expect your puppy to be completely trained when you get him/her. Schnauzers are very smart and with consistency you should have him/her trained shortly.
• I do not take my puppies outside until they have had 2 sets of shots, expect for the occasional picture shoot. So puppies usually are not even started on outside training unless they are older. Please do not ask me to start early as I feel it is in the best interest of the puppy to wait.
• As of Sept 1st you will receive a copy of the health certificate, copy of my health guarantee, health record, a bill of sale, pet puppies will not receive any registration papers or pedigree and will be reflected in price of puppy, full registration will receive registration papers and pedigree, and a puppy pack full of goodies for your new bundle of love. A puppy pack will include a weeks worth of food, and usually a toy, collar, blanket, clothes, and who knows what else I can fit inside a bag!
• All buyers regardless if you are buying as a pet or full registration will be required to give my your name, address, phone number, & email address. I hope to start a new program that will allow me to send your new puppy a Happy Birthday card and gift on their birthday so I will need this info for him/her to receive it.
  
• All buyers MUST sign a contract, health guarantee, the health certificate, & the bill of sale BEFORE the puppy leaves my home. This can be done at time of pick up or can be faxed only. NO EXCEPTIONS!! This will protect you and myself.
•  Most importantly I am hear for support at any time. Your puppy purchase does not end when you get him/her. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email or call me.

REGISTRATION

• Though most my dogs are either registered with AKC or AKC registrable I will NO LONGER be using AKC. I will be using APRI or ACA.
• Why?

1. I will not support a registration club that supports PETA or HSUS!
2.  I breed for quality and not for a registration club.

• To me it is more important to raise quality schnauzers and puppies rather than the quality of a piece of paper. That is all registration clubs are PAPER! They are not in the breeding business just the paper and collecting money business. And actually some registrations are out there collecting our money to secretly hurt us.
